Gettin' Hyped
As more and more people find their way to the @proof_xyz community for the long-term, you’re starting to see the group membership “mature” so-to-speak as the amount of investors and owners with longer time horizons begin to make up a bigger percentage of the group. More names than ever are recognizable in the Lounge as people continue to make the PROOF discord their main hangout spot - I know it has definitely become my go-to these days as there is always so much going on and everyone is so awesome.
Everyone that I know who has decided to go ahead and purchase a Moonbird has absolutely fallen in love with everything the team and community are doing once they spend some time in the Lounge, listen to the weekly townhalls, or interact with the incredible subparliaments. In fact, I’m starting to see a lot of threads popping up lately from community members highlighting everything that is special about PROOF. These are my favorite kind of threads to come across in the wild (who doesn’t love a great bullish thread on your bags), and I wanted to make sure I brought some of them to your attention. So that’s kind of what today’s newsletter will be covering - Gettin’ Hyped!
After all - if enjoying threads that gas your bags up is wrong, I don’t want to be right.
Here’s a good thread from @knownasdollar who you may have recalled was also the collective member who came into the lounge and dropped the free mint moonrunner alpha (back when it was still minting - thanks Dollar!)
Another good read from @philip_yoong who chronicled his NFT journey over the past months, of which PROOF was a large part.
@alexisohanian needs no introduction (ok fine, it’s here just in case). This thread is so awesome - it’s great to see how hyped even extremely accomplished people like Alexis get over PROOF. Remember that Alexis not only is a GRAILS artist, but his firm Seven Seven Six also made a sizeable investment in PROOF, which you can learn a little more about in the threads below.

@raoulGMI had an interesting thread on a frustration that I’m sure a lot of us share - needing to jump through a lot of hoops to participate in some NFT projects. I wanted to draw special attention to this specific part of the thread, though. What is something in the Moonbirds ecosystem that sounds familiar to what he is looking for?
Honestly, the more thought I give subparliaments and how much the team is pushing the ecosystem in that direction, the more I think they are way further ahead of the game than I even initially realized. There are so many benefits to empowering smaller subparliaments to build vs trying to make everything fit a top-down approach, and going forward the project is going to be way better for it. Speaking of subparliaments...

The @3dmoonbirds subparliament is now live! If you have a birb with 3d glasses, you now have another place to call home! Big shoutout to @iderech for getting this rolling (his photography is also amazing)! UPDATE: 3d Moonbirds has been deactivated for the time being. Apparently, some people thought it was a degen mint instead of a subparliament, and started harassing the creator. I will update with more information as I get it.
Yesterday, it hit Twitter that there was a Uniswap V3 exploit out there - not great. You can imagine the uncomfortable feelings it put out into the cryptospace. Luckily, the FUD was crushed pretty quickly.
I mentioned this in an earlier newsletter, but if you haven’t checked out traits.xyz, it’s a pretty cool site by @marckohlbrugge that gives you some more search capability when it comes to NFTs and their traits.
Subparliaments just get cooler and cooler. Check out this rabbithole dreamed up by the founder of @poorbirdsdao.
