No? Ok, well, regardless, the Arbitrum airdrop was the huge news of the day yesterday, and without even a full 24 hours passing, it looks like another big drop is coming -zkSync.

It’s obviously not anywhere on the level of Arbitrum, but it’s still pretty awesome and something that was hotly anticipated by a lot of people. They put out this tweet yesterday.

Arbitrum

As mentioned above, the Arbitrum airdrop went down yesterday, and it was just as awesome as many of us had hoped. While it seemed like their network totally failed and their website went offline for a while when the claim went live, eventually everything got working again, and as of 5:10PM PST on 3/23/2023, the chart looks a little something like this:

You can tell that as liquidity was thin and people were fighting to get their airdrops, some wonky price action occurred - after that, however, things kind of settled down and you can start to see a real chart develop. This was pretty much in line with exactly what I laid out the past week, and I played it exactly like mentioned in this thread so far:

However, Arbitrum (now we get real subjective) is also MUCH more popular than Optimism and is a much bigger deal - so all that being said, I expect this airdrop to do pretty well, and can imagine it getting in the 1-2 dollar range right off the bat (hopefully). (8/18)

Personally, I think Arbitrum still has a lot of room to run, and I’ve only peeled a tiny bit off the airdrop into eth so far while I let the rest run. At the end of the day, this is free money - often you end up costing yourself by being too hasty to swap it into USDC or ETH as that’s what a lot of new people in the space do. Of course, this is NFA - this is just the story of how I spend my money in stupid ways.
